We attempt to fulfill and ship orders as quickly as possible. In general, in-stock orders are shipped within two days of order placement. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will ship the next business day. Your credit card is not charged until your order ships.

We purchase products that are both fair trade and handmade from more than 100 artisan groups throughout the developing world. There are many factors that can lend to a product being temporarily out-of-stock including: popularity of a specific item, lead-time needed to produce replacement product, logistics of shipping, communications with artisans in remote parts of the world, and political climate.
We take every precaution to avoid the situation of our customers ordering an out-of-stock item. In the rare event that an item you’ve ordered be on backorder for more than 2 to 3 days, we will contact you by e-mail or phone. At that time you will be notified of when the item is expected to be again in-stock and given the choice of either keeping your item on backorder and having it shipped to you once it is back in-stock, or canceling the backordered item and receiving a full refund to your credit card.
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa credit cards and One World Projects Gift Certificates. You’ll be asked to input your Credit Card Verification number (“CCV”) for security purposes each time you checkout. The CCV is the three-digit number found immediately behind the credit card number on the backside of all Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards. For American Express cards, the four-digit CCV is imprinted on the front of the card above the account number.
If you wish to pay by check or money order, you may send your order to One World Projects, 43 Ellicott Ave, Batavia, NY 14020, USA. A valid phone number or e-mail address is required so we can contact you with any questions about your order.

We want you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase or gift. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return or request a replacement for an item* within 30 days. However, please note returns are only accepted with prior approval. All returned merchandise, defective or non-defective, requires a Return Authorization Number (RAN) issued by One World Projects.
If an item is damaged, not as you expected or we have sent you the wrong item, please contact our customer service department at (585) 343-4490 or email us at email@example.com and we will work with you to exchange the original item, or issue a refund or replacement. When we hear from you, we will give you a RAN.

If you have requested a refund, upon receipt of the returned item(s) we will issue a credit to the card used for the original transaction, for the cost of the item including taxes. If you prefer, we will issue a refund check or credit your account. If the item was a gift, credit will be given as a One World Projects gift certificate. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
If your item arrives damaged, we will work with you to replace it as quickly as possbile. We will be happy to replace any damaged item at no charge to you.
*Food items may only be returned in the case of damage, quality issues or packing errors. Please contact Customer Service for authorization or more information.

One World Projects will usually ship your order within two business days.
We make every effort to ship orders with expedited shipping as quickly as possible; these orders are usually shipped the same or following business day after receiving the order. Please note that high volumes of orders, particularly around the holidays, can delay the processing of your order; so please plan accordingly!
- Shipping Methods
Depending upon the volume and urgency of the shipment, the standard method of shipping purchases from One World Projects is either USPS Priority Mail or UPS ground. Any other shipping arrangements must be made in advance by calling us at (585) 343-4490 or by email.
- Carrier Information and Time in Transit
Orders weighing less than 5 lbs are shipped by Priority Mail through USPS (US Postal Service). Packages going by Priority Mail can take 2 to 3 business days to arrive. USPS delivers on weekdays and Saturdays.
Orders weighing 5 lb. or greater are shipped Ground through UPS (United Parcel Service). Depending upon the destination, it may take from 1 to 5 business days for shipment delivery. UPS does not deliver on weekends or major holidays. UPS prices vary by ZIP code. For more information on UPS policies and delivery times go to www.ups.com. UPS will not deliver to post office boxes.

Give the gift that always fits and never expires, making it a conventional way to ensure you give them what they truly want. If you're not sure of what item to purchase for someone else, you can purchase a OWP gift certificate for them on our website.
There are no gift certificate fees. Please note, Gift Certificates are non-refundable. Items purchased with a Gift Certificate may be returned or exchanged, unless otherwise stated.

As part of our mission to save the environment, we try to keep packaging to a minimum by sending gifts as they come packaged without adding gift boxes or wrapping paper. We make every effort to manage our business in the most environmentally friendly and efficient manner.
However, if you want us to wrap your gift in fair trade handmade wrapping paper, we can do so, charging a nominal fee for the same. Our wrapping paper is as unique as the handcrafted gift article it contains. There is simply no better way to present a gift.
