MOJE began by working with young ex-gang members and youth at risk of social exclusion, located in violent and marginal urban areas in Ilobasco, a rural town one hour away from San Salvador and has grown into a highly regarded artisanal micro enterprise training center. Moje continues to work with former gang members and with at risk youth in three programs:

Being a recognized national and international association that promotes human and economic development with a focus on gender equity in young people at risk and social exclusion, who have developed their skills for active participation and open spaces for recreation in your community . They have jobs and entrepreneurial initiatives. We are sustainable, through the generation of own resources, having a committed team and social consciousness.
Strategic objectives.
1 - To contribute to the prevention of youth violence through the participation and organization of young people through the implementation of activities that promotes coexistence in a culture of peace and gender equity that affects decision making projects for young people in their communities.
2 - Installation and Youth in skills, techniques, business and human that allow them to be integrally formed, for its successful integration into the labor market.
3 - Contribute to social and economic development of young people through job placement, and support entrepreneurial initiatives.
